Pros

Wonderful people, doing their best, with great ideas

Cons

Resilia is the kind of place where work is piled and piled and piled on high performers until they inevitably burn out, requests for help are ignored, and then they are gaslit into believing they are low performers. People are worked to the bone and when that fails, they're told they need to work harder. When those people leave, instead of learning any lessons, a new high performer to work to exhaustion is chosen instead. Management is not interested in being told that there are issues with the business model or ways the product could be improved so we're not pushed so hard. This is especially true on the CS team specifically.

No/Lack Of Upward Mobility

Pros

- inspiring CEO - 'tech for good' mission and roots - startup, fast-paced environment

Cons

- After finalizing series B, the company shifted its focus from being user-centric and people-driven to being solely driven by ARR. Unfortunately, this shift has had a negative impact on the company culture as it prioritizes outcomes and numbers above all else, leading to increased pressure and decreased focus on the mission and employees. - Leadership is disorganized and slow to provide feedback and career opportunities until it's time for performance reviews. This lack of upward mobility can be frustrating and demotivating for employees. I suggest prioritize creating clear career paths and opportunities for growth, and empowering our employees to reach their full potential. - There is a poor leadership environment where employees feel inadequate and unsure of their worth and work style. This goes against the company's mission of fostering autonomy and passion in employees. I suggest creating a culture of respect and support, where you can build a stronger team that feels empowered and valued.

Pros

Unlimited PTO; most colleagues are good people at heart

Cons

Leadership is not transparent; discrepancies in raises/promotions among POC and non-POC; technology has a long way to go before it's useful and therefore all benefits to customers come from CS/people power which leads to burnout and unrealistic expectations
