      Pros

      Beautiful building Gym Ok benefits Nothing else to add here. Would never advise someone to work here just for those qualities.

      Cons

      Don't let the exterior fool you. It's like being in high school all over again. Management, including directors and C level, are very judgmental and critical especially if you don't dress a certain way or participate in all the BS kumbaya activities. You are made to feel like less than a human being if you don't buy into the perception trying to be stuffed down your throat. It is definitely a do as I say not as I do type atmosphere. Lack of accountability and rampant favoritism make for a hostile work environment. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

      Pros

      I left my last employer after nearly a decade, I purposely chose ResMed based on their People centered culture. I have found the company a joy to work for. People are very open to new ideas and embrace change. The company is making large investments into systems to ensure employees at all levels have room for growth and are not handicapped by inefficient process. The company is also making acquisitions to ensure they keep ahead of the market by not relying solely on revenue from hardware. I have found the leadership team to be engaged and truly care for their employees, this is evidenced by the very competitive benefits, I am saving nearly $6k annually in medical premiums vs. my former employer.

      Some inefficient processes, but these are being redesigned to address current issues.

      Toxic Micromanagers

      The pay is good and the engineers are friendly.

      Cons

      Management is extremely political, toxic, and will micromanage you to death. Upper management wants to reduce redundant work but at any given time there are a minimum of three groups all competing to be seen as the ones who are innovating in an area. This leads to poor results, half baked solutions, and overall more inefficiencies. They are obsessed with setting overly aggressive timelines and management never asked engineers for their input before a deadline is set. Nobody is allowed to have a counter argument about anything. Only managements opinion matters, and questioning it results in punishment. Giving honest and clear status reports about a project that contain bad news will result in punishment. Over all if you wanna go to a place and never grow then this is the place for you. You’ll drown in mediocre bureaucrats and end up hating your life.
