Pros

Good pay, good health benefits.

Cons

The company underwent massive reorgs starting in October 2023 and people are just disappearing because they spoke up at some point and are targeted for dismissal under the guise of "your job is being eliminated"... hard to justify that when you're already advertising for an opening that covers 90-95% of what the eliminated person was doing. Bad behavior is tolerated as long as you're falling in line with what leadership wants to happen. Senior leaders have no strategic vision. The company's cult of personality revolves around the CEO being the son of the founder, so whatever he wants has to happen, and he's very reactive to whatever's happening at the moment so everyone has to jump in immediately to fulfill his desires. Company is prioritizing short-term tactical deliverables over long-term growth just to show progress they can use to juice the stock price. Culture is rapidly deteriorating as the uncertainty around job security and constant reorgs and rapid changes in direction mount.

Pros

The people we got to work with were some of the best professionals in the world, especially all across the US. Benefits were good, but the compensation wasn't very competitive.

Cons

Very unclear, irregular communication from the top down. Unfortunately, after record revenues quarter after quarter, far too many people were laid off before the holidays. Seems like all they care about is the stock price, EPS, investors, etc. A LOT of tenured ResMedians were blindsided by the layoffs, I'm talking people with 5-20 years time at RMD. People who won "performance" awards in August were laid off two months later, it just doesn't make much sense. It doesn't sound like the morale is very good right now, and for the people who had opportunities to move up had been pre-determined.

Pros

I got paid when I was on maternity leave and look forward to that again. But overall, the benefits are not comparable to the industry. Months ago they sent out an employee survey to take the temperature of the staff however seemed to keep the results a secret..must have been really bad.

Cons

Another perk went away, no more Thanksgiving thank you cards. It fits that they would take away a thank you gift as the happiness and welfare of the employees is not considered. The comments on bullying and high school atmosphere are sad but true. Very top heavy throughout the company so the work can never get done. There are a lot of unskilled, high level people. Not sure how they got the job but some house cleaning is necessary.
