STOP!!!! DO NOT WORK FOR THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY

Pros

There are no Pro's about this company as a employee or a resident!!! Horrible company to ever work for. I have no idea how the Owner gets such high reviews when he cares nothing about his employee's that are being taken advantage of and abused across America in my opinion. He really doesn't have much to do with the company anyway because if he did this type of stuff would not be going on in my opinion.

Cons

Across America there have been many great managers with great resumes and wonderful work history hurt by the terrible company by the abuse they allow managers and employees go through all for the sake of the mighty dollar!! As a manager no matter how hard you try and how hard you work your job will always depend on the residents. In all the buildings the residents really run the building. If you don't do everything they want you to do good, bad or otherwise you will not ever make it in this company or be there for very long. Average length of time managers last is maybe one year in my opinion. You will find horror stories of what several managers have gone through with this company if you dig deep enough at the individual buildings in each state. Maybe not on the main Glass door website for RLC but the individual buildings in each state. You may loose thousands of dollars in travelling expenses because if you decide to leave in less than a year they will make you pay those expenses back. We have friends that lost a lot of money because of this fact and the toll it took on their life was terrible. If you want longevity with a company at all YOU WILL NEVER FIND IT HERE!! Its sad even the residents in these communities are being bullied. If for some reason the group of residents who form a Click in each building doesn't like the new resident they can make life very miserable for them. Lots of residents across America has left RLC communities because of this fact. In the building I was at I was told they had gone the 6 sets of managers in a 3 year. What does this tell you. Also, the regionals don't put their trust in the people they hire as managers ....they have certain residents in the building they call to see how your doing as a manger...if theses couples don't like you for some reason or you don't drink and party with them for their weekly Happy Hour then your history. This is definitely not a job for any type of Christian in my opinion....unless you want to trade God for the mighty dollar and put your marriage in jeopardy. Again, I am one of many...many...horror stories.

Not what it appears to be

Pros

The residents are for the most part, wonderful.

Cons

They like to pretend they’re not like Holiday, but they don’t know how to run the business any other way. The CEO constantly talks about Holiday. Even the DFO’s who never worked for Holiday act like they have.
