Pros

This is for you if you - Have no experience in CS - Have no degree in CS - Have a degree in CS but cannot find a job - Willing to relocate within the contiguous US - Ok with being bound to a 2-year contract and 45-70k salary for the first two years (there is a chance you will be bought out by the client company at the end of the first year) - Ready to start within a week or two - Ready for an intensive 12-week training (at time where you will cry :) - Guaranteed job placement with a client company at the end of training (as long as you have put in the work during the training) You have to be ok with each one of those requirements before committing. And remember, they don't get paid unless you get placed with a client so that is a good incentive for the company to ensure the success of their associates.

Cons

It is not for you if you said no to any of the above mentioned items or do not like any of them as they are not going to change so either be ok or don't get involved at all as I have seen people who thought they were ok but then it started bothering them, especially relocating part.

Pros

job, benefits, in theory can get a you job

Cons

contract is horrendous. And In my case and some other coworkers we were forced to sign an addendum which released them from employing us, but we were still under the two year obligation to our NEW COMPANY. We are no longer employeed at revature, and they still send us emails requesting us to relocate. And we are still on the hook for $30,000 if we leave our new job. This is addendum is certainly illegal, and would have a near impossible time holding in arbitration.
