Pros

Paid training, paid holidays, paid time off

Cons

You are a contacted employee, potentially easy to loser your salary and return to base training pay if your company doesn't need you anymore(almost never happens)

Pros

-Good training - No prerequisite other than a college degree

Cons

-They will assign you to a low minimum wage state so they can pay you less -They stiff your pay in every way possible. In the contract they have a high cost area pay boost if they place you in place like NYC but during the pendamic they didnt pay that because you were "working from home." Your expense doesnt decrease 10k for working from home. -That contract is a one way street. Its a shackle that only holds employees down. If they dont wasnt to pay they furlough you and then they stiff your pay on technicalities

Pros

The training covered a lot of stuff that, coming from a computer science degree, I didn't know, but wish I did. So, we learned a lot of trends in the industry, like; common project structures and management tools, design pattern implementations, how to configure various tools, how to work within large groups on a single codebase efficiently, etc. So, it's very practical training. In addition, I made a lot of friends along the way, and my trainer was a great influence.

Cons

They expect you to spend a lot of time outside of paid work hours to study topics and work on projects.
