Pros

Been working with Revature for a year now. Initially joined as a trainee and got trained in Java/J2EE technologies. After finishing training got placed in a good client project. Revature encourages everybody to work hard and pave your way to a successful career!

Cons

Lots of work during the training. But it is for sure useful for your career.

A Good Starting Point.

Pros

The training I received at revature was great. The first few weeks helped to solidify the concepts I learned in college, while the rest taught me new technologies that are in high demand in the field. They give you the experience needed to get your foot in the door. There is housing provided if you need it and the wages during training is easy enough to live off of.

Cons

Some of the apartments provided are to small to house the six people living in them. The training is hard and there is homework occasionally. The work can sometimes cut into your weekend. If you're not prepared to work hard then this may not be a good fit for you.

Pros

If you are willing to put in the work, Revature will work for you. The trainers, recruiters, and marketers will work their hearts out for you; to get you ready for the industry. It is up to you to bring your commitment and hard work and to put in 110%. Where else can you get paid to learn new technologies.

Cons

You may have to move. I had to move a long distance to be here.
