Pros
They might get you an interview or two if they keep you throughout the training process, proceed with caution.
Cons
No choice in training. Forced to sign a contract stating you'll stay on for 2 years BEFORE you are funneled into a specific training stack which you have no choice in. Continuously overhire and don't have sufficient jobs lined up with their clients. Awful communication with HR/Internal departments. Will drop you without a second thought if given the chance. PTO accrual rates are abysmal (<7 days PTO PER YEAR) and you have to use PTO for a large number of goverment holidays or take it as unpaid time off as Revature only recognizes ~7 holidays a year. Starting salary is minimum wage while being trained for 8 hours a day so be able to live on that for >10 weeks. Salary is increased to $45,000 once on project, regardless of your location or what you were trained in. They will also threaten you with legal repurcussions of $36,000 if you try to leave early, based on an arbitrary amount they value the training at (it was $20,000 just a few years ago). Terrible work/life balance, will throw you to the wolves with a company that is just looking for the cheapest option available. They also will tell the entire training batch to leave them a good review on glassdoor/indeed to prop up their supposed reputation as it helps them out, but in reality it's to drown out the overwhelming amount of negative reviews that are actually trying to help people from making the mistake of joining this company.
