      Review of Revature post-training program

      Pros

      -The training program that I went through was a very intense 10 week program. I spent most days working outside of the training program, but the instructors were very good at teaching technologies. Instructors were always open to questions if I felt I was falling behind. -I was given an offer with my client less than one week after training concluded. -Company offers reimbursement for programming certs and moving costs. -Company works with contractors prior to hiring process, so for many associates contractors are available immediately after training is finished.

      Cons

      -Housing situation stinks. The apartments are ok, but typically associates live with 6 people in a 3 bedroom apartment. Prior to moving in I was told that housing would take care of amenities, but after moving in I was told that I had to buy these items myself. -I would suggest having a bit of money saved up prior to moving if you're using housing. Pay after taxes and housing costs was around $300 every two weeks, which was very hard to live on. -No real control over what program you are entered in or where you might end up after training is finished.

      Get paid to train and learn a technology Instructors are knowledgeable Fast Paced You get out what you put in If you need some help getting into the field of technology it's great if you're willing to put in a bit of work. Definitely not a scam

      Requires some time and effort during after-work hours
