Pros

The training program was packed full of new information and technology that was not discussed in college courses but is required by employers. This program taught me more in 10 weeks than I learned in 4 years of college. The trainers are very helpful and make sure everyone understands the topics and concepts being taught. After the training is finished they find employers for you so there is no hassle of job seeking.

Cons

Can be very information heavy from having to learn a large number of topics in a short period of time. The specific technology or set of skills you will be learning is not said upfront, so you don't really know what you will be doing until you are admitted into the program.

Pros

The training process was very instrumental in laying a solid groundwork and, while it was intense, everyone was always helpful and there was no shortage of guidance. Questions were always accepted. It felt like everyone at the company was invested in the training group's success. It was an extremely intense 10 weeks, but it is amazing how much I learned.

Cons

If in the time between the interview and the beginning of training, you were given some instruction on where to begin your studies as far as topics covered during the first few weeks of training, that could help lighten the load of things.

Pros

Fast paced learning. Strong instructors. Leverage technologies that are popular in business. Professional development workshops. Instructors were very available and willing to help. HR and management were very supportive. Despite my one negative feedback if you are wanting to get into the software developer field, this is a great opportunity. You will learn a lot of information in a short period of time, and it will be a good foundation for any developer job.

Cons

At the time of my recruitment, your specific focus depends on when your batch starts. For instance, there are performance engineering, j2ee, hadoop focused groups. I voiced this concern to management, so hopefully this is conveyed better in the future.
