Pros

Training prepares you to be able to talk about technologies comfortably. Trainer assigned is helpful and involved in helping you learn. Good mix between theory and practice.

Cons

Lectures can be more condensed. More optional assignments should be given to gain more practical experience for those who have time to do them.

Pros

Pretty much all tech careers require at least two years of experience now. Luckily, that's exactly what Revature gives you! Yeah, you have to sign a contract. Yes, they're a for-profit company. But honestly, getting free training in return for working for them for two years is worth the eventual six-figure salary you'll be making once you're free. Think about it. It's just two years, and then you're set for the rest of your life.

Cons

Just like college, the trainer (professor) you get is a hit or miss as to whether or not they're good at teaching.
