remote work, compensation, no micro managing
Cons
no infrastructure for DS/ML, leadership and business is not receptive to scientific Statistic/DS/ML based assessments/suggestions. The company at this point is a few years away to have infrastructure in place to support DS/ML work. Too many non technical people try to advance/advise on technical work without truly understanding the algorithmic concepts. There might be opportunity for this company in a few years - currently not receptive to expert opinions. I was hired for DS work - not doing data analyst work.
