Pros

None, HR person was friendly at the beginning with a quick survey request follow up

Cons

The post-interview task was extremely demanding, requiring the creation of a 17-page Excel workbook and a 10-page presentation, which took over 8 hours of unpaid work. After submitting this extensive task, I received a generic, automated rejection email with no specific feedback. When I politely followed up requesting even brief feedback to aid my professional development, I received no response (ghosted). The process indicates a one-sided view of the employer-candidate relationship, showing little respect for the significant time investment asked of applicants. I'm glad I didn't get an offer this interview process itself tells a lot about company culture.

Pros

Good base salary and remote work

Cons

The tenured AE's were hired with a probation target of 1200 Euros. We were hired at a target of 4600 Euros. The batch after us were hired at a target of 6500 Euros. You will see posts by them that they are hiring hundreds of AEs and its a super growing team but thats far from the truth. The tenured AEs got time to build the pipe and learn the business. We were not even kept in the company until second check point of our probation which is a total of 3 months of actual work after the training period. My suggestion is to stay away from this company, especially when it comes to AE roles.

Pros

- People: You’re working with super smart & dedicated people - Compensation: Above market rate base, plus vested options (that mature over 3/5 yr period) - Products: Really interesting to work with so many innovative services - Global presence: Working with colleagues across the world, & to varying global reg standards (it’s interesting) - Remote working - Meritocracy : Rewarded by your work alone. In my experience there’s no discrimination, you can be yourself at work, so long as you get the job done!

Cons

- Working demands: It’s a tough place to work. You have autonomy, as a remote worker, but it’s typical to be logged in for longer than you’re paid to work in order to meet the demands and metrics of your role. - Not a good place to work if you have kids or caring responsibilities. You may think you can juggle the two, but at Rev, it’s impossible. Managers and people are great, but by design the metric/accountability culture squeezes as much as they can out of employees. You’re forced (in the UK) to sign a waiver to opt out of working time regulations:/ - Probation periods: 3-6 months, many people leave or are forced to leave during this period. - Hire & fire culture: There’s a reason Rev are always hiring, and it’s not purely down to growth. If you don’t meet the fast paced, dedicated culture, you won’t be there long.
