Pros

Great discounts for eating out at member resturants. Casual work environment with a great location that is easy to commute to (next door to Ogilvie, a few blocks from the El in the heart of downtown).

Cons

Certain members of senior leadership can't stand each other - which has fostered a toxic work envrionment. Teams from different departments do not trust each other and absolutely don't want to work with each other. Managers have taken dodging accountability to entirely new levels. When issues happen, the first focus if figuring out how to blame someone else and once that is resolved staff might move on to figuring out how to solve the problem. This is because a few of the senior management team can't stand each other and constantly are blaming each other for their failures - and the staff is now involved. All of these problems have caused massive staff turnover. How many more failures will EGI (the owners) accept? Is there ANY accountability for senior leaderhip? As the company crumbles and the employees flee the sinking ship, senior leadership sits back in the large offices - each absolutely certain the problem must be someone else and the top priority isn't to fix your own problems - but to prove that another team is to blame.
