The Biggest Disappointment!

Pros

Work from home, computer and cell phone provided by the company, benefits, 401K.

Cons

They will work you like a dog and rule with an iron fist. This company has a fear-based culture designed to keep you in line and producing. Most people don't even make it passed the 90 day ramp. Employee turnover is at 70%! There is absolutely NO support for the Sales team and the product is stagnant. Rewards Network is getting squeezeed out of the market and Senior Leadership is clueless. No one in the corporate office listens to the people who have their "feet on the street", talking to clients, learning about the competition, and hearing the objections. All suggestions fall on deaf ears. The company has a horrible reputation out on the street and it is not improving. Member match rate has seriously declined, amounts to be funded to merchants dramatically decreased, deal size and counts dropped significantly along with the Account Executive's earnings!!! You make less money your second year than your first year because retention is horrible and you can't keep clients. You make a floor payment which is supposed to help you till you build your book of business, but most clients leave because they feel taken advantage of. Account Executives who have been with the company 15 years only have a book of business of 100 clients! Really?! Yes, it's true. Experienced, top-producing, tenured reps of over 10 years only making around $120,000. What a joke! To even understand the commission breakdown and how you are paid your pennies will take you a lifetime! Get ready to have your brow beat for everything you are not doing correctly if you decide to work for Rewards Network. Employees have so much on their plates and are responsible for so many things it is impossible to concentrate on any one given thing. Not to mention the extremely long, arduous boarding process for deals! You spend so much time chasing down merchants and paperwork, and performing contract rework your head will explode! So much wasted time and resources in this company it's sad. Too many great employees have left or have been fired. I would not recommend working for this company.

Pros

Rewards Network is a wonderful opportunity to learn and excel in restaurant marketing and finance. They offer some wonderful training and travel. The job itself puts you in front of multiple restaurant owners daily where you provide them with information that is insightful and extremely helpful to their daily operations . You also have the ability to provide them with the cash they need to be successful. The pay and earning potential is excellent!

Cons

The management is awful! They have fired so many good, long term people for little or no reason. Promotion within is arbitrary and often with out merit. I have seen 7 employees fired in the last few years who had tenure of 7-15 years with the company, for simply speaking to former employees or not making their numbers in just 2 months. They maintain other employees who are abusive and extremely unethical.
