Pros

Not a whole lot right now. Sometimes there are snacks in the break room. Sometimes there are happy hours.

Cons

Ever since the new leadership team took over, it seems like a lot has gone downhill. The technology we are using is outdated, yet management seems to think it's exciting to have. My work hours have been longer, communication has dropped because senior leadership is never in the office, and the morale within our department seems to have declined because of it. I've been here nearly two years and it is hard to feel valued right now because of not only the lack of recognition but also because of the lack of growth within my department.

We greatly appreciate feedback from our employees and listen to any insights to make Rewards Network a better place to work and provide better services to our customers. We realize the value of recognizing employees for doing exceptional work and we are evaluating best in class programs. This is a theme across all organizations in the US and we want to set ourselves apart. An employee engagement survey brought to light that employees feel communication is lacking. Exciting initiatives are occurring in all facets of the business and it is very important for the organization to be transparent so news will be coming more frequently directly from Ed via townhalls, emails and video updates. Work hours may appear to be longer in the summer because we implemented summer hours this year to allow for employees to work hard and leave early on a Friday or a day of their choice.

Pros

great environment, loved my boss and the work setting.

Cons

the office in Hollywood closed while I was working there when a new CEO came in. What I didn't like was when he came to visit he said nothing would change and we would be able to keep our jobs. The next week we were informed the office was closing in 3 months.

We sympathize with our displaced teammates. Business decisions are never easy. The elimination of our Hollywood Inside Sales & Member Service team was necessary to support Rewards Network growth. We worked closely with all teammates in Hollywood to ensure career transition and robust severance packages were given and utilized. We are pleased that two of our Hollywood teammates even relocated to our Chicago corporate office and are doing great!

Overall RN is a great place to work

Pros

Some of the best reasons to work here are the perks we get as employees. Discounts on program restaurants, casual dress attire, summer hours, we have a ping pong table, occasional free lunches and social time at the office, innovated and forward thinking management teams, and transparency.

Cons

Merit increases are industry standard. Yearly self evaluations. Too many manual processes. Health benefits in general are okay but employees pay quite a bit. Dental insurance coverage is could be better.

So true. We strive to provide a culture and environment that supports our employees success. RN offers a 33% discount at member restaurants and we love hearing employees take advantage of that. We appreciate your perspective on benefits. We conduct benefit satisfaction surveys to ensure we introduce benefit options that employees feel are a value-add. Our merit model pays for performance and overachievement of goals.
