Great nursing care staff, decent food in Korner Cafe and cafeteria, great and free parking for both visitors and employees.
Cons
Unfortunately, the pay and needs of the staff are basically ignored. Rex needs to re-evaluate their pay grades and postions that deserve higher pay. CNA is the worst paid job in the hospital, but I'm not sure about how the pay is compared to the rest of the Triangle. Other postions, such as Unit Secretary pay very well for a low labor and low stress job. Also, it's getting very difficult for the hospital to get help for the staff. There is a Staffing Response Team (SRT) that the hospital refuses to utilize even if it means leaving the currently employees extrememly over-worked and under-paid. Hope that Rex begins to listen to their employees because it will get to the point that Rex is no longer the place to want to work.
