      Pros

      I have had poor experiences with some, but the where I am now and the position I am in are great. Great branch, great colleagues, room to grow the branch and customer base and prove I am worthy of advancement

      Cons

      No place is perfect and has its few flaws with staff and lack of proper management training

      Pros

      This position did allow me to see all parts of the branch operation - from the warehouse, counter sales, inside sales, outside sales and management. It was a fair representation of how a branch runs day-to-day, and it allowed me a good "crash course" in how a decentralized distributor works.

      Cons

      The internship program was not well-structured from a corporate level. Inherent with all branch-based companies, there is also a strong sense of discontent between the local Rexel location and "big brother" corporate, putting me in a somewhat awkward position.

      Good work\life balance and flexible schedule.

      Cons

      Career opportunities as well as compensation are on the low end of average. There is no culture to be spoken of, which because senior management are too far removed from anyone or thing that is actually happening, that when initiatives are launched, they are mediocre at best, and to no avail. It is almost as if they were taken from a Management 101 textbook as opposed to really knowing what are the pain points in the company, and then holistically looking to fix or improve the situation.
