Pros

*Free Beer *Cheap-ish health benefits if you participate in screening *Free food, events (accounting sometimes isn’t invited) *Very easy work, the entire team is over 50, so it wasn’t hard being the fastest in the room

Cons

*The only way to advance was to be over 50 years of age & white, even for lateral role changes. The wages are so low their talent pool consists of dried up ‘lifers’ *Zero talent in upper level staff since they grew the company 100% in less than 2 years, they grabbed the first internal person regardless of skills. *Geographically there is no where for you to grow, the only roles based in Florida are Accounting roles. While finance and other accounting functions are based out of Chicago or Cali. Legit a dead-end career in the Florida office. *Incompetence in the VP/C-suite is unheard of, with an unmatched ego to hide their incompetence. Lots of ‘fakeness’ within the leadership

Pros

Free beer & merchandise. Nice building. Good cafeteria. Young professional employees. Fun outside work events. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 2 beer maximum at company bar.

Cons

Management is god awful - they are always right in every circumstance, rarely EVER take their employees advice or trust their insight on anything. HORRIBLE commute to Rosemont, not in Chicago. PTO is rarely ever approved due to “blackout scheduling”. They suck you in with throwing free beer & merchandise at you meanwhile not rewarding employees with their hard work by raises or incentives aside from alcohol. Management says they promote career development however rarely ever provide opportunities for that because the workload to too big. Forcing smaller business to have minimum orders or be put on once a month orders (some people can’t afford this). Management blames the account supervisors for errors in order scheduling, and mistakes within orders even when that fires the person isn’t the person taking the order.

Pros

Nice vacation accruals, when you can use it.

Cons

Preach work life balance but when it comes to the commission based employees that goes out the window
