Pros

company car, travel reward benefits

Cons

Upper management does not want to put time in to support new team members which creates a fast turnover over. Unless you have been working for the company for a long time (right out of college) you are often the person to blame. Same goals never get hit so they fire the new employees instead of looking within themselves to see what they can do to better support their team.or possibly maybe they are the issue.

Overall positive, some caveats

Pros

The company almost exclusively promotes from within. Benefits are pretty good. On-site gym, free breakfast and lunch, and despite what many former employees say, you CAN get foods with sugar in them. Lots of company events give opportunities to meet people throughout, and plenty of charity events. Internal training is helpful especially for young professionals starting out. I’ve personally taken many workshops that have increased my professional skills. Non-smoking requirement guarantees a smoke-free facility.

Cons

Pay is lower than standard, and the company is not transparent about pay throughout. Management is not allowed to discuss their pay, which makes it difficult to overcome systemic pay gaps between men and women, and those with degrees vs those without (even for the same position.) There are many company rules and while they do try to be fair across the board, your experience will depend entirely on your department. Some are run very lax, some are very strict. Some have amazing support from leadership, some have high turnover due to poor leadership and training. If you’re applying, talk to someone you know in the company, or do some research online to find out employees’ experiences in each department. Dress code policies also get a lot of complaints, mainly due to gendered rules (men are not allowed to have long hair), which raises a lot of questions.
