Pros

Free lunch and breakfast 5 days a week

Cons

Everything else imaginable, no teamwork throughout department and it seems leadership just disregards new employees.

Pros

Excellent training programs well above industry standard in both quality an availability Opportunity for those without professional experience including both recent college grads, those changing professions, and even a few with less education but more demonstrated talent Onsite Quadmed clinic was excellent (or it was at the time I left) Facilities are mostly well-maintained, if dreary. Cafeteria has excellent food, though it's not especially affordable given their average salary . I was told they started paying 100% of health insurance shortly after I left, so if that's true then that's another plus. The company is open to its facilities being used for fun activities as long as they take care of them, including game nights, sports leagues, even a card game league. I'm glad they do some annual charity activity, even if its only to help the company's reputation it still does some good.

Cons

The company has zero loyalty to its employees. People who spent over 2 decades there would be fired on a random day without warning. Leadership is an old boys club full of right-wing men and you feel that culture throughout. Very little diversity and they're not overly shy about pushing their politics on staff. There's very little opportunity for advancement and the people who do advance do not reflect the best and brightest. In many ways it feels like working in an office 30-40 years ago just with (slightly) better computers. While some steps have been taken to improve things and like anywhere your individual manager makes a huge difference on your experience, the company is a draining place to spend your time with no respect for your life outside those miserable beige walls. They expect undying loyalty and service well beyond your job description, but you can never forget that to them you're just a code in a database. Salaries are universally far below industry standard.
