Pros

Some great talent at Rho. WFH policy is nice.

Cons

The career ladder is not good. Management is not able to support the operations teams. 10% layoff in 2023 and hiring in 2024, 3 months later. Hard to bond and establish relationships as there is a large group that have been together since the beginning. Family owned and run company with a lot to learn about the industry. Job descriptions are misleading as there is not clear distinction in your job duties - the expectation to wear too many hats is not sustainable.

Pros

One of the only remaining family owned CROs in the industry and people here are as real as they come. The company operates with transparency and the communication is open, down-to-earth and honest. This is a place where people actually seem happy and work/life balance isn't just a tagline. Comp is competitive and hard work is rewarded.

Cons

The company has been impacted by the downturn in the industry as has every other CRO. However, the impact here seems minimal in comparison to other CROs I have worked at

Pros

Lots of room and support for growth. Everyone I interacted with was a pleasure to work with. The benefits package was fantastic. The business was transparent in its decisions with the employees. Overall, I had a great experience.

Cons

None, honestly. The industry is taking a hit right now, but the company itself is wonderful. The office can be a bit of a ghost town, so keep that in mind if you're interested in working on site. It's a nice building, just very quiet.
