Pros

Great people, talented, driven, customer oriented. Rho was a great place to start a career in clinical research.

Cons

Rho has gone downhill in the last few years, taking on too much work with not enough people at the expense of their employees. Salaries are also not commiserate with industry standards.

Pros

Flexibility. Still some smart experienced people there but they are gradually trickling away. Willing to hire folks with no experience - unfortunately, they won't learn much that will apply to other companies. Would be a good starting point but don't stay too long!

Cons

Family owned (academics, not business people). No outside members on Board of Directors. All 'leadership' has come from internal promotion, been there too long and none have much experience in 'real' pharma or CRO companies. Promotion system is completely obscure. HR is not to be trusted. Outdated home-grown systems and processes throughout. Recently inspected by FDA and things did not go well. Can't keep senior QA staff.
