Pros
The overall pro I’ve found while working at Rhode Island Home Improvement is the family atmosphere created within the office. The Aurgemma’s have gone out of their way to make sure my status with the company is more akin to that of family member as opposed to that of employee. They have always shown understanding with flexible hours while at times catering to my somewhat difficult schedule needs caused by my continuing education, with which I’m sure many employers would not have empathized. Overall, working at RIHI has been a very positive and educational experience.
Cons
Regardless of for whom you work within the home improvement industry there are sure to be stressful episodes. Marketing will test the boundaries of your blood pressure from time-to-time, but that is more of a sporadic industry-related phenomenon rather than company specific.
