      Valhalla, good pay, great people.

      Cons

      Houston has great food, but none of it is near Rice. Gotta have a car to get to food.

      I worked in the library: Great work environment Great co-workers Supportive supervisor Encouragement to take more responsibilities and learn Super medical benefits

      pay: it's better than working at public libraries, but still not enough to live on without help from a spouse or parents.

      Pros

      You aren't glued to your desk all day and have the opportunity to move around. The environment is mostly friendly and it's lovely being around intellectual minds.

      Cons

      Management is poor and quite frankly racist. It reminds me a lot about the old boys club in that there isn't much welcome for women or women of color.
