Enjoyed the beautiful campus and the multicultural environment. Nice people around and easy-going. Enjoyed the food too. Of course, you can search neaby in the weekends.

Cons

The summer could be very hot, lasting from June to September. Most people may have to go out for summer vocation. Otherwise it should be fine.

Small class size; comparable larger attention; Rice is a really small university with no more than 6000 student and half is the graduate level students. Therefore, we have a comparably high ratio of professors against students than most universities round the country; That correspondingly guarantees small size of classes and fair individual attentions for each graduate student; High quality professors; The faculty at rice are well known for their rigorous, strict academic training and quality. Not only Have they achieved their doctrines under high reputations but also they contribute to the academy with all their efforts.
