Pros

Super good team environment, small enough to be cozy and personal yet a top international university with absolutely first rate staff and people. Everyone seems committed to the institution and there is relatively - repeat - relatively little inside infighting and tensions. I have been most impressed with the atmosphere and the great quality of my co-workers.

Beautiful and highly selective Rice University offers a truly world-class education, but is not widely known outside Texas and the cloistered academic community. Here is a real hidden gem, by all means the Princeton of the South.
