Pros

Good co-works, and a fair company that ensure the longevity of all of its employees.

Cons

Unclear decision making from upper management, which leads projects to be halted in the project application stage for months, if not years. Additional frustrations include lack of accountability, lack of innovative insight, individualistic upper management, difficult sales force, lack of team mindset, high turnover, understaffed, and underpaid employees to name off a few.

Pros

Good people, move from within, longevity in manufacturing departments

Cons

German headquarters makes almost all decisions, high turnover in customer service and marketing departments, underpaid for what job descriptions entail. There is possible growth but minimal. Upper management is not trustworthy

Pros

The company itself has a lot of potential to be competitive, but will not succeed without serious action being taken .

Cons

1) Production/Materials Management is in bad shape. All department managers have been promoted through their years of service at the company, which is great. Unfortunately, none of them have been really invested in as managers, and they all display very few leadership qualities. They do not conduct themselves as managers around staff members, and most of them are more like a "friend with benefits". 2) Like any other below average German manufacturer in the US. All the raw materials used in the production departments MUST come from Germany, and the German mother ship does not provide! So the hourly staff is often has nothing to do and is left scratching around for work, in fear of losing their jobs, or when smart enough they proactively looking for work elsewhere. The boat is sinking, and putting in your 9-5 here has a slow-deathy type feeling to it. I would not recommend taking a position here. At least until another year or two has passed for action to take place.
