Constantly changing direction

Pros

Great health benefits. Smart people.

Cons

Leadership is constantly changing direction. People within the company are not aligned. When something goes wrong the leaders are quick to blame it on the lack of hustle within the workforce but in my opinion, it comes down to a lack of strategy and set of common goals. People are pressed to deliver and everyone is doing their best but there is a lack of unification against a common set of goals, vision and strategy that makes working here difficult.

Chaos with no direction or teamwork!!!

Pros

Compensation and Benefits are amazing!!! Unfortunately due to COVID some of the other benefits we received were terminated but those other benefits go above and beyond what most companies would have. For the most part the people I worked with were amazing and gave it their all to grow the company

Cons

There was a lack of teamwork on the leadership level which in turn impacts the rest of the company. That lack of teamwork has caused chaos and no direction for a lot of the teams. At times multiple teams were working on the same thing at the same time and that got frustrating. Obviously, things are different in each department but what I can tell you was on the operations side things were chaotic and a mess. These issues happened prior to COVID so that's unfortunately not a reason why things were chaotic there.

We are glad you enjoyed your colleagues and benefits at Workrise! That said, we're sorry to hear about the lack of direction you saw and can understand how this was frustrating. We have restructured operations to give current employees more alignment and ownership. We appreciate your feedback and time with us, and wish you the best of luck with your next steps.

The company HAD potential...

Pros

Talented people flood Workrise, but with little direction. My manager(s) are what kept me at Workrise until my last day. I just couldn't take another day of being overworked when I didn't even know what my goals were.

Cons

After I was hired, I then saw how incredibly disorganized this company was. Spreadsheets upon spreadsheets, lack of honest communication from leadership, and last but not least, the fact that they led their employees to believe the company was a tech startup. IT IS/WAS NOT!
