Pros

The company is growing fast which allows for awesome opportunities to accelerate your career if you're willing to take charge. There is a culture of openness and transparency that allows great ideas and initiatives to come from anywhere in the organization, not just management or particular teams.

Cons

Nothing worth noting at this time.

Fast Paced, High Impact Culture

Pros

The team is up to some incredibly big things at RigUp. What I love about working here is the fast pace environment. I've worked at other tech companies prior, and a lot of them move at a snail's pace compared to RigUp. Management has a "no-bs" attitude and everyone down to the interns is given the opportunity to make a big impact. Here at RigUp I enjoy that engineering and product can work hand in hand with sales and support functions. At my last company, different departments never interacted together. They were information and idea silos. At RigUp, the culture is hyper collaborative. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the company. It's truly exciting.

Cons

Hard to think of anything specifically that stands out as a negative. But I would like to see more personal enrichment workshops in lieu of company happy hrs or outings. I know this is something the office manager and team are working to address. For instance, instead of a happy hour, could we instead host a time management workshop for employees?

Pros

- Some incredibly talented and hardworking individuals. - Potential to make an impact if given proper direction and support.

Cons

Where to begin? During my tenure, Workrise has been plagued by a constantly shifting strategy and focus, resulting in a revolving door of leadership. In 2024 alone, we saw three different CEOs, not to mention the abrupt release of the CRO, Head of Customer Success, and the entire Marketing team. Critical roles in Operations and other departments were also eliminated in a string of seemingly impulsive layoffs. The company operates with no clear strategic direction or shared context. Goals are broad, unrealistic, and often unmeasurable, leaving teams confused and demoralized. Financial targets are equally unattainable, and when these egregious benchmarks aren't met, it’s the employees who suffer the consequences. Transparency and accountability are glaringly absent at the leadership level. Decisions are made without input or explanation, leaving employees in the dark about the future and the steps needed to achieve success. It’s hard to feel secure or motivated in such an environment, and the extreme lack of leadership accountability exacerbates the issue. Lastly, this company will work you into the ground. The lack of clear priorities and constant upheaval make it nearly impossible to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
