      Pros

      -Smart colleagues and talented people. -Initially interesting work on a few projects. -Remote working (but got old after awhile).

      Cons

      -Incompetent leadership who don’t understand how profit margins work. -Inability to grow business because they’ve invested too heavily in sales positions and fired the creators of the work. -Lack of innovative thinking, often offering templated solutions to problems that require a completely different approach. -Some major narcissistic personality types that let their egos drag the company down.

      Great culture, outdated tech stack, micromanagement to meet billable hours

      - Great culture where everyone is approachable and happy to answer as many questions as possible needed to help you onboard and learn how to develop yourself - We used to have a weekly all-hands meeting to discuss

      Cons

      - Tech stack (Magento) is very outdated. You will not learn how to be a proficient software engineer working with this framework - The company does not sell a product that they develop rather they sell their labor in hours to companies that need us to build something for them. - This leads to a culture where developers need to be very accountable for their time and log everything they do in a day and managers encourage developers to hit their max billable hours
