Pros

Rimkus is a great company to work for. I started working at Rimkus in 2006, and the company has offered me (and other likes me) opportunities for career growth and professional development. I work with an amazing team of engineers and scientists. Rimkus has grown a lot of over the years that I've been here, and we have maintained a positive work family environment.

Cons

I can't think of any cons to working with Rimkus. I honestly cannot think of a better company to work for doing the type of challenging work that we do.

Pros

Growing company, very clear what your job and your role are. My experience is that there is a fairly open, straight-shooter culture. It seems like hard work is rewarded. I notice that many managers and executives were promoted from within, which I think helps the culture.

Cons

Company growth has lead to some growing pains with respect to training, accounting, and IT systems. People are well-meaning, sharp, and helpful, but the systems have some catching up to do as of right now.

Pros

I love the autonomy working with Rimkus. There is a bread and depth of knowledge base to learn from. You will become a better well-rounded engineer that can see and understand the dynamics and building science of an entire building.

Cons

Potential con -- you will be on-site/ in the field a fair amount. You will get sweaty and dirty and have to interact with people. However, I really enjoy this part of the role.
