Pros

Company wide, most of the people are great. I adored most of my coworkers in my actual office. Flexible towards personal/family life. Decent pay.

Cons

Where to begin.....first off, accounting and IT in the corporate office are a mess. Training is almost non-existent. Twice, as an admin assistant, I actually trained my new boss. There is an Operations Manual, but it's rarely followed. Instead, each office does whatever they want. Consistency is not encouraged from office to office or region to region. You cannot trust management whatsoever. I was lied to straight to my face many, many times. I was asked to do things that I'm certain should not have been asked of me. I was told things I shouldn't have known. Admin was consistently blamed for the billable employees' inadequacies. Low morale due to micromanaging, dishonesty, unrealistic expectations, etc. The company has lost great employees over the years due to all of the above, and will continue to do so.

We appreciate your viewpoint and regret that you can't recommend our firm. You are correct about one thing. Our people do make Rimkus a great place to work! Admittedly, our IT and Accounting departments have struggled at times to deliver the best internal customer experience, but they are making tremendous strides. Likewise, we may have inadvertently lost valuable employees in the past, but honesty and transparency are the driving principles of our leadership today. We have listened. We are listening. And we are becoming a better company every day!

Pros

Diverse, exciting work. Autonomy. Excellent work-life balance for those who excel. Work-family culture that transcends the office. A truly great company to invest yourself in.

Cons

High expectation of employees to communicate with our clients and to 'do what they say they'll do'. This can be a tall order for some technical people. But if you can deliver, I find no cons here.

And while it's true that the HR team can be boisterous and passionate about our jobs, it's only because we care deeply about doing an exceptional job for our employee-customers! Also, the HR department consistently ranks very high in internal employee satisfaction surveys.
