Case overload, No support from "Support Staff". I-T support non existent. Three levels of vertical Org chart. Too many non-billing people playing solitaire on computer. Overhead too high.

Stability: this is clearly a company that people come to for their career. The average expert tenure is 12 years. Opportunity: this company continuously promotes from within; I have benefited first-hand here. I started out as a staff consultant and now manage a branch. Top Notch Support: it has been amazing having access to structural, electrical, mechanical, Biomechanical engineers all in-house. The training gained through joint collaborative projects has been amazing

Cons

Forensic engineering tends to supply higher volume of smaller projects. Variability in workload does occur, but typically remains easily manageable.

No organization is invincible, but Rimkus is a stable company, not subject to the ups and downs of the oil and gas industry that can lead to mass layoffs. Interesting line of work. Lots of opportunities.

Cons

Going through massive expansion and systems are getting upgraded, which can be cumbersome to the employees.
