Pros
I loved working with a great team that works together to achieve success. People aren't fighting over customers here. Instead, people help each other out and peer coach so that we all succeed. The team is diverse so you get to know people you might not otherwise meet. The management team is also diverse. I liked this because they have their own personalities and styles. It's normal to like some styles more than others but every employee has someone they feel they can go to. The pay and benefits are great. They are really good at working with your schedule and helping you find the right balance. They like to hire from within and give you a lot of different opportunities to explore new skills and learn about the industry.
Cons
This is a busy store and it can get tiring at times. This is not just a job. It can be a career if you like it. The encouragement and training are there for sure. What is frustrating is when co-workers don't buy into that and just want to get by. We only succeed by working as a team and when some people aren't that into it, it puts a lot more pressure on those who are. It is retail, so weekends and nights are part of it. But they do try to accommodate requests as they can.
