Nice office in central location, free daily lunch, good coffee machines and soda water on tap.

Cons

Company has been struggling for a few years, limited opportunities and a lot of outsourcing which has been done poorly.

Cons

No cons to employment at Rio Tinto which is interested in Win-Win situations for all stakeholders including market competitive rates for employees and contractors.

Pros

Fantastic people to work with. Sense of community and belonging. Benefits were awesome - subsidized health care, remote travel assistance and other. Affordable housing in town. Great holiday arrangement - very generous and needed with the distances for travel.

Cons

Senior Management reneging on deals, lack of training and nepotism. Lack of resources in the town. Expensive travelling to/from the area, and is disappointing that the company won't allow staff to pay/book for flights through them.
