Pros

The Company has capable manager, give you all the tools you need, has good salary, mainly for expats. Safety is a priority for RIO Tinto and part of your day to day life.

Cons

The company is getting much more financial driven and sometimes do not care about employees and talents as it used to do in the past. Global Mobility still needs huge improvement.

Company is going down

Pros

Competitive remuneration package One of the few largest and well known companies in Montreal

Cons

Too much instability Culture of outsourcing everything in India, Poland etc... Management treats pleople like commodities, no human aspects, consideration for your career aspirations, just blatant favouritism everywhere. They always ask for more and more and they give you less and less. It is simply not a place to work for except for money. Very negative place.

Pros

Worked with great people, had good development opportunities

Cons

Politics, seemed like people were already identified for roles, therefore internal interviews were a waste of time.
