Pros

Good benefits Large multinational with overseas opportunities Good pay Good coordination and standardization across the global business

Cons

Sometimes political At times can be frustrating with the processes and whatnot related to working for a company so large Due to the size, it can often be difficult to drop off people who aren't pulling their weight

Pros

Work life balance was good. Great people to work with.

Cons

Once Rio Tinto bought Alcan it became a different company; not the company it once was. The moves made by management became very questionable and seemed to lack direction.
