Pros

- (some) great people to work with - good salary in comparison to other tech companies in Dublin

Cons

- toxic culture - you're either ally or enemy culture - less benefits: removing benefits (silently, you don't realize until you claim it and they tell you it was removed) - silent layoff: they're trying to make work miserable so you leave the company yourself, they don't have to deal with PIP or redundancy package. your day is full of micromanagement, dull tasks, gossip and blame then you realize it's time to leave - mediocre leadership: people are brought to leadership roles without any people management experience, vision, or competency. - wall street leadership: there are people above you who only played Candy Crush and that's their relationship to gaming. You'll feel like you're working in one of the Big 4 companies

Pros

Great benefits Competitive Salary Great workstations Possibility for personal growth and development

Cons

Cultural values do not work in practice A lot of people that don't really do any work Too much autonomy for teams leads to a ton of discrepancies in priorities Bad resource handling Shift of focus from players to revenue

Pros

Riot Games people focus a lot on playing games together and have really optimistic attitude towards work which makes work fun and interesting. There are lots of hardcore gamers working in Riot Games, so people here really understand players and people all care a lot about players. Because people are aligned with player focus, there are less conflicts and more happiness in the office.

Cons

Playing sometimes takes some people too much of their time.
