Pros

It is easy to work with external partners based on the strong IP power of the games. The work environment is top-notch, and the company treats us well in this sense. Every tool and material is of high quality. You get some chances to travel for free to esport events.

Cons

There are not enough opportunities for promotion and managerial roles in local offices. You can end up being stuck in the same position. Regional offices have to cope with lots of dependency on the HQ. The communication between the HQ and regional offices is not so efficient. Some teams have to deal with and satisfy way too many internal stakeholders from multiple product teams. Their resources are treated as if inexhaustible. Their contribution is also underappreciated. The company has relationship-oriented culture especially among old-timers whose survival skill is making cliques. You can end up spending way too much time with coworkers on corporate trips, frequent events and games, and may not have enough privacy. HR is unbelievably biased and unprofessional when it comes to toxic old-timers being cliquey and harassing newcomers. I've experienced too much drama here trying to survive, and it has been a lifetime trauma and disappointment for me, as no one has ever taken responsibility for their wrongdoing. I don't consult HR and try to stay away from potential risks that may require their support. It means I don't think I have trust in the system anymore and thus cannot work here for many more years.
