Pros

It pretty much has all the benefits of a startup, you will gain a bunch of experience very quickly. This is definitely the place if you want to get better quickly.

Cons

Sometimes you can unfortunately have longer hours of constant coding when doing paired programming.

Pros

Flexible working. Autonomy. Excellent benefits (that 401k matching amirite?). Top shelf healthcare coverage. Best culture experience of my career. Leadership are very committed to the culture and have proactively put people and processes in place to keep it scalable.

Cons

Amplifying what some others have said, transforming the world's largest bureaucracy can be challenging but your team will have your back. Startup culture means rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in a lot of places in the business. So if you want a role where you can be a champion for other projects, this is for you. If you want that corporate silo lyfe, Rise8 isn't going for work for you.
