Pros

The people I worked with are some of the best in the industry. There is a real family feel that is promoted from the top down at NWHM.

Cons

There is an arrogance with certain senior managers that tends to have a negative impact on field employees and customers.

Pros

Needles to say, the quality of the experience you have at a company depends heavily on the quality of the people you work with on a daily basis. With only a few exceptions, The New Home Company has put together an intelligent, balanced, hard working group of people.

Cons

It's impossible for any company to not have a few employees with some sort of minor personality disorder. The New Home Company has a few people in management positions who have gotten to that position because they believe they should be in that position and not because they are the best qualified or have the skills to be in the position.
