Pros

Employee's get a 20% discount, which is really nice since Rite Aid has the best drug store rewards program.

Cons

I'm a part-time worker and if I don't work at least an hour during a 28 day period, I'm kicked out of the system. For college students, study abroad is a huge problem. Rite Aid is so focused on savings that hours are constantly cut. Rite Aid is so incredibly cheap. You are required to take a 30 minute unpaid lunch so all "full-time" employees actually work 37.5 hours a week. Rite Aid is also a revolving door, the front end can hardly keep a manager or employees for longer than 6 months. Rite Aid pays the lowest per hour rate/salary for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Pros

Good benefits and pretty decent pay! Besides that, I can't really think of any pros. Then only pros are pay and benefits but actually working there is a very negative experience.

Cons

Rite aid doesn't care about their employees at all. The people that work in corporate have no idea what it's like to work at store level. They make us follow strict rules, but if the rules make a customer angry enough to call corporate and complain, we have to personally call the customer and apologize and give them a gift card. It makes the employees look very stupid and poorly trained, not to mention it is a slap in the face for following stupid corporate rules.
