Pros

I really love the people I work with but other than that They have no real redeeming qualities to speak about.

Cons

When I was hired at Rite Aid I was hired as a supervisor. I made my way to 13.70 an hour. I was promoted to assistant and was paid salary. Something happened and they made all assistants hourly when I did they brought my pay to 12.39 per hour and made me work 5 hrs overtime per week to make up for me getting paid less. 3 years later I am finally making what I made as a supervisor. I have a family and it was really hard to support them with that pay. I had asked hr multiple times for a raise but nothing.

Pros

Fairly easy to pick up extra hours

Cons

Tons of pressure to override DUR without any legitimate time to consider them. Lots of pressure to perform and increase store volume as well as cut tech hours etc. Terrible career outlook: I've seen multiple people let go of after working over 10 years with the company simply because they were able to replace the position with cheaper new labor. Not a place to try and work long term.

Pros

They hired me. That's it. The work schedule was awful. The hours were awful. The morale in the store was awful.

Cons

The store was always severely understaffed. It was not uncommon for a store to get trashed during the day and have one person scheduled to clean it. Everything fell on the assistant because the store manager never closed.
