Pros

Just an average retail drug store experience. Enjoyed the people I worked with during my time there.

Cons

Store level management seems to be lacking but not absolutely terrible.

Pros

If you are full time, benefits package is decent.

Cons

Employees are treated like disposable pieces of property whose sole purpose is to come into work and attain daily weekly monthly yearly goals. There is practically no concern for employees on a individual level, and it's obvious that the only thing they care about is the bottom line. Security is not provided for stores in rough neighborhoods. Pharmacists, for the most part, receive little to no tech help in many locations, and are often expected to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the business makes money. These efforts are not rewarded; the company has phased out raises and employees receive little to no end of year bonus. Takes forever to accrue any decent amount of time off. No overtime pay for pharmacists;technicians are generally not allowed to work overtime.

Find another company if at all possible

Pros

No pros I can think of that set Rite Aid apart from other pharmacies ... find another pharmacy if at all possible

Cons

Management and corporate treat employees as a number and place impossible expectations on them. Don't support their employees to help contribute to the success of the business and no constructive criticism. Put employees down constantly and never given any compliments on what was done well. Shared QA in the pharmacy that made me nervous to loose my license ... checking scripts from other stores without even knowing the patient or seeing the actual prescription. Highly don't recommend this company. On top of that, was made to come to work even in wake of a family emergency and when deathly ill.
