Pros

Rite Aid has a very good benefits package. You do receive time off after working their for a year. There is room to move up if you want to become a key closer or assistant manager.

Cons

Rite Aid constantly cut hours, so much so that you might have to obtain another job in order to make ends meet. The pay is also really low compared to other pharmacies.

Pros

My immediate boss is one of the kindest and warmest people I have ever met. She creates an environment that is comfortable and promotes camaraderie. You will never hesitate to discuss any issues you may have, work related or personal. She is the reason the team has stayed together and all the employees are incredibly loyal. The team itself is great.

Cons

The upper management is completely disconnected from reality. They either have never actually worked in a busy pharmacy or simply don't care. The constant rules, regulations, threats, and neglectfulness is tiring. They seem to be intent on making our jobs as difficult as possible. Worse, they tend to hold double standards. For example, if they insist upon a rule that we try to enforce and a customer complains, the upper management caves in, making us look incompetent and stupid.

Pros

For the learning experience. It is nice to use my lab skills in the community pharmacy setting. It helps me to remember the drugs also.

Cons

The random hours. Plus the extra stress during school.
