Pros

Best Reasons: Being a pharmacist, i get treated like gold. I get paid really well. Some autonomy with hours I have to work.

Cons

Downsides: Occasional, unfair treatment of employees Too many bean counters - no effective middle managers ie. auditors, VP's, etc. Corporate Management are clueless.

Pros

Very good basic selection of OTC & Beauty items. People in the store are friendly and competent. Customers are great. Excellent rebate program for the customer.

Cons

Everyday pricing is too high. Way to many Rite Aid coupon offers which indicates the company knows or should know regular pricing is out of whack. Way to many checkstand directives to effectively communicate to the customer and still keep lines moving rapidly. Poor raises and bonuses based on rather unrealistic budges. Poor upper level management because they seem to have no idea what their programs are doing in the stores.
