Pros

Worked with a good team

Cons

Horrible hours no work life balance expected to complete tasks that you’re hired for yet. Short staffed so you’re doing multiple roles extremely hard to get a raise.

Pros

1. Good for climbing the ladder and exploring other branches. 2. Technician Trainees get paid training and resources for licensing. 3. Pay is usually better than competitors depending on location. 4. PTO is reasonably scheduled (i.e. not a lot of PTO overlap; compromises are also made especially during holidays). 5. My store in particular had somewhat adequate staffing compared to others as majority of us were in a seemingly "float pool" at some point.

Cons

1. Physical environment is usually a mess due to lack of time to properly clean and the drastic workload. 2. Incredibly stressful production workload. Typical retail pharmacy things like rude customers, back-and-forth with MDs/insurance, etc. 3. Line management is difficult to work with. 4. Constant equipment failure with fax, printers, phones, sometimes software would freeze and crash.

Pros

We were a very busy pharmacy so there was never a dull moment. I loved our customers. That was the hardest thing about leaving was the customers.

Cons

Corporate would not allow enough staffing hours for our store to give the best customer service and get all the prescriptions done in a timely manner. I was working 40 hours and a lot of overtime and we were always behind. Corporate came in and cut our hours. Since I was the lowest on the totem pole. I was given 16 hours.
