Pros
-Working with both front end and pharmacy customers and clients -Wellness Ambassadors are their own "entities" so to speak, as in, they are the "image" of their store and the Rite Aid brand as a whole. -Make connections within your community by hosting outreach programs -Not necessarily under any direct form of management due to the fact you are solely responsible for your own duties and they ultimately fall upon you to get them see done. -Works closely on a daily basis with Apple products such as a personal iPad that is provided by the company. -Allowed to have the personal freedom to make executive decisions of what your day can look like for a weekly basis.
Cons
-There are not enough communication and compliance with some store managers and pharmacy managers which often lead to a difficult marketing experience for yourself. -The pay raise is strictly performance based on your store's location and how your numbers were for the previous year. -The iPad and software closely linked to the Wellness Ambassador position can experience glitches and malfunctions. -A lot of the framework for training can be at time all over the place as there is not enough experienced or trained higher-leveled ambassadors to cover the growing team.
