Pros

The pharmacists I worked with and my coworkers were fantastic. Overall, I had a good experience working in the pharmacy.

Cons

Sometimes there were issues with the computers that caused delay in filling prescriptions and therefore we were backed up for periods of time.

Pros

Decent place to work in comparison to other retail pharmacies BUT is the same - focus on metrics.....long hours....barely any lunch breaks depending on your store. Pay is good and so is the 1199 union coverage within the NYC area (store-dependent again) but best chain among the other two common choices of CVS and Walgreens/DR.

Cons

As mentioned previously, long hours and barely any lunch breaks. This is something very characteristic of retail pharmacy, not so much Rite Aid specifically. Once again, everything is store-dependent.
